HKU PHCA Designated as WHO Collaborating Centre for Health and Nursing Workforce Development in Primary Health Care

The HKU Primary Health Care Academy (PHCA) has been designated as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Health and Nursing Workforce Development in Primary Health Care. As a partner of WHO, PHCA will continue to contribute to key areas including primary health care, tobacco control, and nursing leadership development.
Congratulations are extended to Professor Sophia Chan and the PHCA team. The Academy’s admission into the WHO Collaborating Centres network marks a significant milestone, and continued global collaboration is anticipated to strengthen the health workforce and advance primary health care across the Western Pacific Region.
