About the Seminar
This seminar will offer generic insights into academic publishing in medicine, applicable to researchers across all specialties. Drawing on his extensive experience as both a clinician and a journal editor, Professor Donnelly will share practical advice on the publication process — from manuscript preparation and peer review to common pitfalls, editorial decision-making, and strategies for increasing the chances of acceptance in high-impact journals.

About the Speaker
Professor Richard Donnelly is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Nottingham, UK. He is a distinguished clinician and academic leader in diabetes, cardiovascular endocrinology, and therapeutics. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolism, an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on clinical and experimental pharmacology and therapeutics in metabolic and endocrine diseases. He also brings extensive expertise in medical education, health science publishing and clinical research communication.
