A new concentration with focus on the Public Health Practice – Comprehensive Primary Health Care (PHP-CPHC) is launched. This concentration fosters an understanding of contemporary public health practice, based on comprehensive primary health care principles and the whole-of-society analysis approach, for both global and local public health issues.

On completion of the MPH programme, students in PHP-CPHC concentration will be able to

• Apply the principles of comprehensive primary health care in addressing health issues locally and globally from a systems perspective

• Synthesize how a whole of society approach can engage communities with data to shape interventions to improve population health

• Synthesize the potential contributions and implications of personalized public health

• Formulate innovative risk communication strategies that are inclusive and effective in engaging diverse stakeholders while fostering trust 

• Formulate evidence-based strategies to address environmental health issues

• Demonstrate the use of a systematic approach in solving public health problems
