Healthcare Policy Brief Formulation Programme
The Masterclass is complemented by a Healthcare Policy Brief Formulation Programme that guides participants in translating research into actionable policy recommendations. Targeted at Faculty colleagues and professoriates, selected participants receive mentorship from Prof Sophia Chan to develop policy briefs based on their work. Completed briefs may be submitted by the Faculty to relevant authorities, and successful participants will be recognised with the Healthcare Policy Impact Commendation.
The Health Policy Research Team of PHCA develops and publishes policy briefs to translate recent research findings into clear, accessible, and actionable insights. These briefs highlight key evidence and provide policy‑relevant recommendations across focus areas including community‑based health promotion, primary health care, smoking cessation, and alcohol use. They are designed to inform policymakers, practitioners, stakeholders, and the general public, supporting effective public health decision‑making and intervention planning.
